The Biggest Obstacle to Health is Your Gut

Do you know what the biggest obstacle to improving your health is? It’s your gut.
Are you dealing with bloating, reflux, diarrhea, constipation, leaky gut, IBS, high cholesterol, blood sugar and blood pressure or autoimmune disease? I get it. Gastritis turned my life upside down because when I first started noticing pain, I pushed it off and waited too long to get help.
I see it every day in my practice. Clients put off saying yes to their health because they feel they’re just too busy. Society tells us we need to do it all and say yes to everyone. And if we don’t, we’re made to feel we’re unloving, unproductive and just not good enough. I’m here to tell you that’s just not true. You are worth it because you’re you. Don’t ignore what your body is telling you. Deal with is so you can take care of the people and things most important in your life.
I educate clients on eating properly, the importance of reducing stress and the emotional connection. We correct digestion, balance the microbiome and heal the GI tract. We detox the body and do specific detoxes in areas of need such as candida, parasites, mold, fungus and heavy metals. We discover trapped emotions that are often a root of physical symptoms – we are spirit-mind and body.
By addressing the gut, many clients see overall changes in health. Their digestion improves, sleep is better, blood sugar balances, cholesterol and blood pressure go down, joint pain fades, energy increases, emotions level out and quality of life improves.
Here are some stats:
Busyness: Over 40% of Americans find it difficult to maintain a healthy lifestyle due to modern living pressures, such as time constraints and unhealthy food availability.
Chronic Conditions Linked to Gut health: Eight chronic conditions, including diabetes, depression, and cardiovascular diseases, reached their highest prevalence in the history of America's Health Rankings and these are connected to gut health.
Most Adults Have Gut Issues: Approximately two-thirds of U.S. adults experience recurrent digestive symptoms like gas, bloating, and abdominal pain disrupting their lives.
IBS on the Rise: IBS affects 10%–15% of adults in the U.S., with a higher diagnosis rate in women and women are carrying increasing amounts of stress.
Uninformed: A significant portion of Americans are uninformed about gut health and the microbiome. Many individuals rely on the internet for information but often lack guidance from a healthcare professional to put the puzzle pieces together.
Gut's Role in Well Being: Despite growing interest in gut health, many Americans remain unaware of its foundational role in overall well-being. Recent surveys highlight significant gaps in knowledge about the gut microbiome and its impact on various health aspect.
Microbiome: Approximately 41% of consumers are unaware of the gut microbiome, and 50% do not recognize its influence on gut health and other health areas according to PR Newswire
56% are unaware of its connection to immune health.
63% do not recognize its link to mental well-being.
54% are uninformed about its role in healthy aging.
61% are unaware of its impact on sleep quality.
Don’t let this be you. It comes down to one choice - saying yes to your health and sticking with it because you are worth it.
